After much browsing I bought this unit. I selected it because it has a bright display with a large enough platform so my large bowls dont hide it, without being too tall for the storage drawer. Also, it is USB rechargeable, has push buttons, not the horrid touch buttons. These are the features I required.I really don't need more than on/off, tare, and unit. Give me simplicity! Defective upon receipt. The battery connector plate broke off while installing the batteries. I loved the hold function, percentage calculator and adjustable off setting that it advertised, but never got to use it. Having to return this one and will update based on replacement.UPDATE: SO I received a perfect unit and LOVE this scale! I have had many kitchen scales in the pas but no one did satisfy me. I bought this one as I make sourdough bread - the scale is very precise and I like the fact that it has a percentage as it is easier to make my sourdough. It has a wonderful function which is that the auto-shut off can be removed when weighing few ingredients. It has other functions just as useful - I love my scale - it is sturdy good quality and I appreciate the ABS body. should last years. I forgot : it has a one year warranty - it is large enough for a big container - for me no cons for the BOMATA

This is a decent scale for the price.The Pros:It is precise to 0.1g. I like that.This scale doesn't "beep" as much as some other scales I've used. I am very happy with that. This is THE best scale in the world in my book. I have used this scale for over a year now. Still as good and reliable as day one.If I was given a $500 scale as a gift, I would still use this one. I randomly picked this scale a few years ago. We are food weighers and have had a lot of kitchen scales over the years. This one is the best we’ve had. It doesn’t round annoyingly leaving you wondering how much of a powder supplement you’re actually consuming. It will say 4.7 grams, not rounding to 4 or 5. It is as good at weighing very small amounts as the dedicated mini scale. When I check the scale accuracy with the included 100g weight it’s always exactly 100.0. If you are tracking food you can’t get a better scale.

This scale is way larger than I expected. I bought it because of the dual function; it can be used with battery or plugged in. The plastic tray will definitely be used to capture any spills. The display screen is big and easy to read. I choose the colour black and I love how it looks. The buttons response is quick and immediate. I only use grams and ounces but there are other measurements that can be used. It will be easy to clean and easy to store away.
