I have been using a SQ9185 Brother machine that has been able to do a lot of what I needed but it was time for more power and to add the embroidery. I was hesitant to buy this because of the cost but I'm so glad I did!This machine is super easy to set up and get started on. Connecting to the internet was fast. Learning how to use the different features wasn't difficult but did take some trial and effort because I didn't read the multiple booklets that the machine was shipped with.I make handbags with denim and this machine sews through multiple layers with such ease! It's fast and pretty quiet

I love my Brother SE 2000! I wasn’t sure if I should purchase an embroidery only or a combo machine and I love that this can do both so I’m not taking up so much space with multiple machines. I was also deciding between a 4x4 and a 5x7 hoop area, go for the 5x7! You are so limited with a 4x4 and I found this one easier to do more with. Read the user manual!!! The manual helped me go from sewing machine to embroidery machine. Also, YouTube videos help. Lastly, do a few test runs to learn/practice using the machine before starting a real project. With one exception, I'm loving the Brother SE2000 machine. It's my first embroidery/sewing machine. I bought it for the embroidery feature but also finding that the stitching for regular sewing is far better than the Brother CS6000 that I had purchased during the pandemic. The stitches are now much straighter and look more professional. I rated this 5 stars but I want to warn sewers that the automatic threading feature is not as easy at it appears on videos. I struggled with it and wound up breaking the lever after only a few tries. I hadn't even used that much force. I'm now waiting for a rep

Super disappointed! I purchased a used machine thinking I would get a deal. Some of the pieces are missing. There is dog hair in the box and on the machine and I have this huuuge machine with NO instructions!!! How am I supposed to learn how to use this?? The grid is missing too! And the power cord is missing! Can’t even turn it on! Do not buy used products I doubt if it’s worth it!

This machine was delivered today and I was disappointed that I couldn’t use it due to the fact that 1. It has an American plug and 2. It needs a voltage adapter to take the power down from 240v to 120v. There’s NO WARNING information about this in the description or the books that arrive with it. I’ve already waited 3 weeks for shipment and now I have to wait for the converter plug. Thanks to one person who highlighted this I wouldn’t have known otherwise and it could have damaged the machine.
