    Versatile machine that works great

    I love this sewing machine. The ability to switch between machine embroidery and sewing on a single device is great for my limited sewing space, and the larger hoop size of 5"x7" gives me a lot of flexibility. The machine is a picky about tension when it comes to embroidery, so make sure you do a test embroider for any new combination of fabric and thread. I couldn't find the cards that offered a discount on embroidery designs that are supposed to come with this set. I finally found them in the plastic envelope on the outside of the box, with the packing slip. The embroidery thread that comes

    Excellent sewing machine and embroider

    This is a great machine. I highly recommend it. It does things that I'm still learning to do. A bit pricey but well worth it. I have no complaints. It comes with a lot of stuff. It is a bit heavy nut not too big. Embroidery is excellent. This comes with a huge book. Even if you are a beginner at sewing on a machine, you will have no problem following the directi

    Brother SE 2000, very quiet!

    Highly recommend the Brother SE2000 sewing machine. Easy to thread, but different then my brother SE 350. Read directions.I have embroidered several items, it is substantially quieter than my SE 350. My dog does not run out of the room.I made another quilt, once again, it is very quiet. Great for piecing, curves, appliqué, and binding.Love, love love my Brother SE 2000.

    open packing list

    The Machine came a week early. Great Deal!! I found everything in the box EXCEPT the 5 Embroidery Design Coupons. I was cleaning up the packing mess and making one more Check of what I had received but I still could not find the Embroidery coupons. I took all the Card board out to the burn pile and heaved it on to burn. I seen the packing list and some thing red flash by as it sailed on to the burning pile. I quickly retrieved the box and pealed off the Packing List. There was the missing Coupons. So If you get one of these machines look in the Packing List.

    So far so good.

    Love this machine. It was a big step up for me and learning the embroidery software takes a little time (similar to Cricuit Design Space) but it works like a dream!

    A $2,000 headache

    I got this for Mother’s Day last year & finally got around to working on it a few months ago. It has been nonstop issues since then. I’ve had to replace countless parts & have spent more time troubleshooting this machine than actually embroidering. I have to pay $400 to take it in to get looked at and find out what the issue is as it’s been a constant headache for months now. If you want a smoother running machine please opt for a different one. This one is TERRIBLE
