I bought these just over a month ago. For the price, I didn't have very high expectations, but I was very pleasantly surprised when they arrived - they were VERY sharp, the knife block is well designed and made of a composite material that doesn't seem absorbent or germ-friendly like a traditional wooden block, and the channels go all the way through so they get air and can drain even if a wet knife is inserted (though you really shouldn't be putting the knives in the block when they're wet).I was concerned that, for the low cost, the edge wouldn't hold, but they've been used pretty heavily fo

These knives are amazing. After years of trying to find sharp knives these are the sharpest I have found.The stainless steel knives with the dark gray butcher block is such an elegant addition to the kitchen. It does come with the sharpening rod to keep them razor sharp. I can finally stop looking for sharp knives found the perfect set.

This block of knives replaced a block of Henckels knives, which replaced a block of Chicago Cutlery knives. These knives started out sharper and cut better than all the previous knives listed here. They also kept their sharp edges longer. Like any other knives these need periodic sharpening. I have a really hard time not having the tips of these knives bend over to create a dull tip. I haven’t been able to straighten the tips myself. Maybe a professional could do it. Note: I’m an amateur cook, with no illusions of grandeur. I pick up a knife and use it the same way I did as a child.

Sharp! Handle is ONE piece. Shiny with a durable bake. Well worth the money

So far I like this knife set.I don't use it much but when I do it cuts like butter.the scissors are awesome. I brought a lot knife sets, this byfar is the best.I don't leave messages.but if something is good,I want the people to know about it.

This knife set is absolutely gorgeous! I would highly recommend buying these. The variety was perfect to fit my cooking needs. They feel heavy and durable. I love that they are stainless steel and after using them I feel like they were worth every penny!
