Very nice knife set, pricey but high quality. Looks nice in counter and so far has stayed razor sharp after six months of use.

This knife set is incredible. I originally purchased the honing knife and the carving knife for butchering steaks I was so impressed with the quality that I purchased this knife set to replace my Henkels. These things are sharp, and I love the look and feel of the handle. I run this knife set on one side, and two honing knives, a carving knife and a cleaver on the other. The magnet is strong everywhere except for close to the sharpener so keep your smaller lighter ones on that side to prevent them from falling off.

This is a very nice set nice enough to keep, but it has a few things to be improved upon. The magnets inside the board are strong in the middle, but not on the ends so the knives fall over. The board scratches very easily when removing and replacing the knives. The knife handles are dull looking and each one is different from the other. The knives balance and grip well. They are not dishwasher safe, which I knew when I purchased them. They are easy to clean and sharp, so be careful.

I have never had a knife set I really cared much for until I bout this set. It is a very good set for the price and I plan on keeping this set for a long time. Make sure you don’t leave the knives in water or dishwasher and you will love this set.
