Best router I ever bought, it has so many built-in features, expensive but totally worth it, my internet is slow but this router helps balance and maintain the limited bandwidth between all my devices (+30), only complaint is that the reset button doesn't seem to work.

I wasn't a fan of this product. The setup wasn't as intuitive as some of the previous routers I've purchased. But my biggest issue was the fact that this doesn't have band steering or a smart connect feature. Since this feature was missing if I rebooted the router or if I connected a new device, The device wouldn't automatically connect to the fastest network. My cell phone was connecting to 2.4 instead of the 5. I had to literally disconnect the Wi-Fi on my phone and re-enable it so it would choose the correct network. Good speed for a person that’s lives upstairs

Very fast. I get an absolutely solid connection that penetrates all areas of my double wide trailer home and most of the surrounding yard as well. The firmware is super easy to set up and well polished.The only knock I have isn't even the fault of the router itself. I kinda thought I could flash it with vanilla OpenWRT firmware, but this model is NOT currently supported by OpenWRT for the vanilla software so you will have to use the stock firmware that comes on device. Easy to setup and includes built in adguard. No crashes or anything either.Improved my overall network performance compared to my old Nethear Nighthawk R8000 plus I retired my Pi-Hole setup as it wasnt necessary anymore.

Coming from a Netgear WND3800 running DD-WRT, I took a long time to find a router I wanted to use for the next 10 years. I found GLiNet while looking for open source projects and it seemed perfect (Narrator: It was) I have really enjoyed the user interface and all the options. Having both built in DNS blocking and then content blocking is a really nice combo. It has worked with all my devices, even a 2021 water heater that only connects to 802.11 G. I look forward to using this for a long time and I am sure it will be worth it.
