This is a excellent little failover router that couldn't be easier to set up and use! I use mine for connectivity in a food truck using a Starlink Mini in bridge mode (internal router disabled) as my primary WAN and cellular for backup. Follow the instructions, and the primary works right out of the box. I use a Consumer Cellular SIM for the cellular side in the SIM 1 slot. (Consumer Cellular is AT&T based.) Installed in my rv to have a central gateway for all our devices to only have to connect 1 device to the network. As a bonus I was able to wire this to RV 12V and the winegard 360 antenna allowing for a very clean install and maximum range extension without having to add an external antenna or spend a ton more on the official gateway routers sold for the air 360.

The nano sim was just purchased and installed from AT&T so that's probably not it. I've purchased this because of NETGEAR hotspots can't stand up to hot room temperatures. I'd ove to hear from anyone who has had this and found a correction.Update, no response from support and I need this. Returned it and will look elsewhere. ATT sim card not recognized.

I bought this router because I have a remote cabin and Wanted a way to keep in touch to monitor power and cameras. It needed to be able to work with google fi which is my carrier and it does. Purchased this for my new internet service which uses T-mobile cellular. I inserted the SIM card sent by my provider, changed the user id and password, and it was off to the races. Very simple. I can't say if this router is faster than my older router because that was using cable internet.
