    Worked great to connect firestick to older tv

    Constantly restarting with Firestick (0 stars)

    Great in concept, poor in execution. Every couple of seconds it loses input HDMI signal from Firestick while streaming. The longer it is on the worse it gets. I tried swapping USB PSU to the converter. That didn't resolve issue. Tried with 2 apple cube USB PSUs and a samsung. Possibly no isolation between the HDMI input and the PSU for the converter. When I have the Firestick plugged into the outlet, the light on the HDMI PSU I'm using turns on indicating that PSU is getting powered, prior to even plugging the converter in.Update: I found an old IPAD charger - this appears to power the unit an

    This works with quality compromise

    This works as suggested, sound output is also good as compared to 3 others which I ordered. I connected my chromecast to my projector using this HDMI2AV converter. Assembly is fine, if you don't mind the loss of video its perfect to use it where HDMI is not available.
