I've tried several other brands & types. Hdmi to rca, vga to rca and this one is the only one that works. I'm using it to go from security camera dvr box to an older TV with no hdmi. Also tested on a computer to same TV and it worked. Granted the picture isn't the best, but what do you expect from rca?? Lol. But this saves me from having to buy a newer TV with hdmi! So I'm quite happy.
Picture only came on in B&W so I tried flipping the switch over but still only B&W picture only more grainy
needed this to record from my Amazon firestick to my old DVR. Only had a BW pic but reread the posting and flipped the switch & works perfect! A+ THANX!
Nice product for niche applications. Works well, as designed. Pricing is reasonable.
Just hooked it up, works good on the old tube tv. These people saying it's a crappy picture have to be young kids. Of course an analogue picture isn't going to look hd. If you hear a buzzing sound of interference after you get it positioned how you want it, push in the 3.5mm plug back in all the way. Hope this helps people.
Does not work. I bought one prior and worked for about 1 year. I thought it went out due to my error but the second sent out after a few weeks. Now I know its the product.
It arrived in PAL and I almost threw it away. Switching that tiny little grey switch put it in NTSC mode and improved the picture quality drastically
Doesn't work-no signal at all (audio or video) and got very hot after being plugged in only a few miutes
