Love this router. I got it to fix the unreliable home router that ships with Spectrum Home Fiber. I work from home and need a reliable connection for Teams/Zoom meetings and everyday work. My Spectrum home router kept freezing and having performance issues. TV streaming was also terrible. Got this router, configured it in 5 minutes, and I was up and running. as an IT professional i can 100% recommend this to anyone looking to step up there home networking. it offers great wifi speeds and coverage for an average size apartment and possibly even a small house. ubiquiti is constantly updating the firmware on these devices giving you new functionality every day! with the 10gbit sfp+ port you get nice access to better than average home networking speeds for stuff like a nas or home lab stuff. for what theyre charging for this router, you'd be silly to not purchase it over the other brands out there in this price bracket or even price brackets above it.

Awesome router with great ui interface. Hard to beat ubiquiti equipment. Ui makes it easy to see what's wrong with the network real quick.

I went from my treasured Alien, to this UDR7 and so far could not be happier! I also bought the wall mount and the Ubi 7 Pro access point. I loved my Alien, it was wonderful inside my house. Wifi outside on my rear patio, dropped fatally. I have the 1 gig ATT fiber and wired was great. Wifi was respectable 6-700 ish mbps. Ive seen many a post about slow speed on this UDR7, but look at my iphone screenshot. Im blown away. Now, via the wired access point Im pulling 800+ mbps on wifi on my patio. Powers up, connects with your app, and installs without issue. Using mine as a foundation for my old alien routers. This is my new router for my U7 access point150 feet away via. PoE. My aliens are deployed via ethernet first floor and wireless mesh to my second floor. The first floor alien is bridged to this device. So far, I have great signals on all three floors and in my backyard. I live in an old 1910 Home, brick and thick old construction. I’ve got Wi-Fi coverage on my entire 1.3 acres. I’m a happy boy

This is one of the best items I’ve ever purchased. It came in the very next day, the speed is absolutely insane, the UI is comprehensive with just a few YouTube videos, the stability is perfect, etc. I can go on and on. This was like buying a calculator. Definitely recommend.
