Ubiquiti Networks UDR7 UniFi Dream Router 7, Desktop 10G Gateway

Setup was simple and seamless. Router is very fast. Performance is excellent. Network management is super simple and has a great UI. Very pleased with this product.

Replaced an Amplifi Mesh system when my clients exceeded the system capacity with a ZenWifi BE5000 mesh. This UDR7 solved all of my issues. Ever since I moved away from the previous Ubiquiti mesh my network was nothing but hot garbage. This thing rules. Worth the investment, great entry point to Ubiquity. Been super stable, very user friendly and the companion app is beautiful and simple to use and get setup and running.I’m no big computer nerd or networking guy, but I’m not dumb either. I’m very impressed with this router. It has clean user interface. I did use Claude AI to provide me step-by-step directions on setting it up and understand how to configure this router to its maximum potential.I was able to isolate my IoT (cameras, smart speakers) devices from my computer and set up a separate guest network. Hands down the best router on the planet. Feature rich and the firewall is easy to setup. I can never go back to any other router. I was also able to get actual 1gbps up and down from it from wifi (albeit at near point blank range). Very impressed with the Ubiquiti ecosystem.

It's working as well as expected there's a bit of a learning curve the display keeps saying no Internet despite it very much working as it should. It'll ideally meet any needs tech wise (Not sexually) for the foreseeable future

I made the mistake of purchasing an unifi express 7, save yourself a ton of time and money and get an UDR7 instead. I spent a month dealing with the subpar support folks before finally getting a replacement. Of course I had to pay to ship back the defective express 7 in order to get a refurbished unit as a replacement.
