You need the Aroma Rice Cooker. Very simple and easy to use. Makes perfect rice using the ratio of equal parts water and rice. Aroma automatically shuts off when the rice is ready. The rice was perfect and ends your need to monitor cooking the rice on a stove top. A real time saver and rice is perfect. We made oatmeal which is delicious. We used a ratio of 2 parts water or milk to one part oatmeal. We added 1 teaspoon of vanilla and a handful of dried cranberry. I love this pot , I cook salsas but have to stir it alot for a half an hour, I cook mango jelly in it to and oatmeal, not just rice it does it all really good and don’t burn, it’s so easy to clean and use , when this one wears out I will for Sure buy another one!! I give it five stars all day !!!!!

Very happy with it: It is small so uses very little counter space, very easy to use , no fancy digital buttons to get confused with ( you just push the lever down) and the light comes on. It does the job perfectly.

Wow! What a disappointment. I followed the instructions on making rice including using their measuring cup (which isn't a cup, btw) and the rice came out like pudding. The lid and pot jiggled and I wasn't sure what was happening. I liked it because it was small and wouldn't take up a whole lot of space, but what a failure! I first thought it was my rice so I had my daughter try it and she has a friend over from Japan and they had the same results. My window to return has closed so this will go to Goodwill. I selected this cooker because it's PTFE free, and inexpressive. First one was dead on arrival. The switch wouldn't turn on the unit so back it went. The second has worked fine and produced nice rice. It does best in the middle of it's capacity. Larger batches tend to be a bit wetter and stickier. If you're cooking rice for more than 4 this might be undersized.This is a pretty low cost unit, so I don't expect bells and whistles and this one has none. Love this rice maker. You wash your rice and put it in there and set it and it goes off when it's done. The rice consistency is great. Best value for the money. Very versatile...can come more than rice in it.

Perfect size, good rice capacity and a really nice color—this rice cooker looks great on the counter without taking up too much space. I especially love that it has a ceramic non-stick coating, which feels much healthier and easier to clean than traditional coatings. Super simple one-touch operation and consistently good results.
