This has become my favorite way to cook rice. It cooks up to 3 cups of uncooked rice in about 20 minutes, and as long as you measure the water correctly, the rice comes out fluffy and perfectly cooked every time.The biggest reason I bought it was the stainless steel inner pot is I wanted to avoid non-stick coatings, and this one has been great.The only downside is that a little rice sticks to the bottom after it’s done cooking. Love this rice cooker. Perfect size for two, or small meals. Love that the "pot" is stainless steel. We replaced one that had nonstick interior (and was bigger) that has scratches and probably peels bits off into food. This one is much healthier. Same loved brand, just a better pot. This is a great little rice cooker. The 3-cup size is much smaller than you might imagine, but it works perfectly for two people. We only cook 1 cup of uncooked rice at a time, and it makes two nice big portions in a short amount of time, especially white rice. It might be enough rice for three people but not four.The warmer feature is nice, but I wish there was an off button or an auto-shut off feature after a couple hours. You have to unplug it to turn it off. We frequently forget to unplug it right after serving, but thankfully it makes a little "click" noise intermittently while still warm

I've had my pot for several years now. It's not automatic but it is very versatile. I use it when I travel as well as at home. I boil water for my tea, make oatmeal in it. I have been using this type cooker for several years now and I thought my old one might have been giving me some trouble when I was melting chocolate so I bought a new one that had a slightly heavier interior pot but overall the exact same thing. This cooker does an awesome job and Cook's awesome rice, soups and other great stuff on high or warm. This cooker is durable and I like the fact the stainless is not going to scratch off in your food like the other black covered metal.

If you aren't incredibly picky about your rice, this cooks a consistently good batch every time. The standout is definitely the stainless steel pot; it’s durable and much safer than cheap non-stick coatings that scratch over time. Quick tips: Remove the pot from the cooker as soon as it's done to avoid over-cooking at the bottom. Also because it’s stainless steel, rice will stick a little bit to the bottom. Amazing rice cooker! One of the best kitchen gadgets we have. I used to cook rice on the stove (same brand as I now use in the rice cooker), and somehow this rice is so much better and fluffier.
