I've had several printers, and this one is the best. It's so easy to use. The screen is HUGE. And it works... ! Very little set up. Compatible with PC, Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

Very satisfied with print quality, but be advised that this machine is very heavy, so may need help with unboxing and set up.

For years I wrestled with inkjet printers, including two that often malfunctioned and drained my wallet as I tried to keep up with ink needs. I always thought a laser printer would be overkill, but my frustration level got so high and a friend convinced me to look at the Brother laser printer line. The cost difference between getting one that only managed black and white vs color was - when I purchased - negligible, so I went all out and got the color printer and could NOT be happier. I have a small business and we need to be able to print and scan in abundance daily. So far, this printer is getting the job done. The print quality for the documents is good quality. The scanning is fast, the quality is fine. Haven't had any jams. I do like upon scanning multiple pages every page is scanning correctly. No missing pages.We use a ton of toner/ink in general. So we use XL cartridge ink cartridge, which is giving us at least 5,000 pages. We will soon up that to the XXL cartridges. Great small office printer. Only one we have used for years finally past best days, and now retired to back-up! This is the upgraded model. So far, as great as the older model with a few enhancements. Only model in this price range which does duplex scanning for large documents, which is a feature we require.

I would have put ZERO stars. Printer had a fatal error in less than 3 months, which Brother must have been familiar with because they offered a warranty replacement immediately. I had a paper jam but cleared it and the printer still thought there was a jam and would not operate at all. The warranty replacement was DOA (Dead on Arrival), completely non- functional because the touch screen was non-responsive and the problem could not be cured. It took them some time to offer ANOTHER replacement printer, but I told them I didn't want it. I wanted to return both of the printers and get a refund. B

good for standard printing. NOT good for envelopes, labels or any 'unusual sizes'. As we haven't had the machine long it's still early to decide star value.Set up wasn't bad, came with ink and fairly easy to set up. Wi fi was easier than hard wire. Printing envelopes took some negotiating and the 'instruction' help for temp admin is long. You must use a rear access which isn't feasible in our work space.
