My biggest issue with this scale - and I still have some lingering concerns - is that the condition of the control-panel area and the inside of the lid told me very clearly that someone else had owned it before me. I have been a coffee drinker my whole life but only this year got into coffee much more seriously. I now own both a Moccamaster and a Breville Bambino Plus espresso maker. I purchased this scale before I bought the espresso maker, I didn't expect to need a timer. Now that I do use a timer, I wish I had purchased the version that includes a timer. I did have to replace the included batteries after about 8 to 9 weeks use, I used better batteries and I imagine the battery life will be better. I may purchase another scale soon that includes a build in timer but I will gladly keep and use this one

I don't think you can do much better for the price. It has physical buttons and a nice display. Much better than the expensive Hario. The tare is stable when grinding coffee and I've not seen any significant inaccuracy. For example it will reliably increment for a single coffee bean and once dialled in, the dose doesn't need changing over the course of a bag. I have a Mazzer Philos and a Linea Micra, which aren't really in question. I bought this to measure granulated/powder medicines that I use and it works really well for that. I bought a set of weights to make sure the scale was accurate and it is, right out of the box. Its handy, lets me weigh out a teaspoon + to make sure I'm getting 2 grams and so far it has worked every time. Other reviewers have said that it may lose a little weight if you wait too long, bus so far that has not happened for me, but it doesn't take that much time to measure out the grams.
