    All the details of the machine are online, so I will skip but I highly recommend watching the youtube videos. I upgraded from a $99 machine that I have had for 15 years. Sewing on the new machine was like going from a skateboard to the USS Enterprise. Here are some highlights- It threads the needle for you!!! It cuts the thread for you!! These two actions will save you so much time! It has a speed control and a great feed dog system, so you can almost let go of the fabric while sewing. Stitches are perfect and even. You can adjust the size of the stitch and position of the needle about 40 diff

    I can’t believe the upgrades in the 3160. I have an earlier 3160 that I just took to Retreat two weeks ago. Never have had any problems with it.Wanted, not needed, the QoV model to take to Retreat in two days. Emphasize wanted.

    Description and what box says may not be what is inside.

    This is not a review as to the Machine. The Machine is a good machine, as is the Janome brand. This is about wrong advertising or wrong item(s) in the box.The machine I got was the 2030DC. The description said Janome 2030QDC-G Computerized Quilting and Sewing Machine. I was expecting the 2030QDC with the quilting attachments. When I took the machine out of the box it's label was the 2030DC. Everything on the outside of the box said 2030QDC. The Q is important, as that would be the machine that would have the Quilting attachments, which I was hoping to get. I returned the machine.

    I am quite delighted how quick my order was shipped to me.Getting acquainted with the machine reading the manual I just started to show so still getting acquainted . i’d like to mention that the machine is everything I was looking for,the weight of the machine as it will be very handy when I travel.     All the bells and whistles

    Great machine! Has all high end features for a starting sewist that learned on a higher end machine. It started out with the thread feeling tight and machine operating loudly even though stitches were clean, but I realized it was due to the cheap thread set I purchased. It’s much smoother and quiet with quality thread. I’ve made quilted bags and clothing, all great on this machine.

    Janome is a good brand

    Janome is a good brand of sewing machine, but this machine, I believe was dropped because one corner of the box was badly damaged. The machine was making a very loud, and longer than it is supposed to be, sound when the machine was turned on. For the price point I wanted a perfectly new machine so I returned it and bought another model from a local sewing machine store. But this model Janome should be a very nice basic sewing machine. It has several nice features. A speed control slider, a needle threader, a start stop button so you don't have to use the floor pedal. If this machine had not ha

    I absolutely love this sewing machine! After going through 2 Singer machines, I thought I'd never sewing again. This Janome, has blown my mind! The ease of use, the functions, and just how quiet it is while sewing, makes me so happy! I definitely would highly recommend! Definitely worth the value of cost!
