    Happy sewist!!

    I purchased this Janome after doing some research on coverstith machines. I am an intermediate sewist and own Brother, Janome, and Husqvana sewing machines. After going to through the manual as well as several online tutorials I found the machine genuinely easy to use.

    I love this thing!

    I just love this machine. Took me a few months to get up the courage to open the box, and I'm sorry it took me so long. I just love this machine. Owner's manual settings worked perfectly for the 3-needles top stitching/coverstitch and the back box looking stitches are fabulous. Trying to talk myself into using just 2 needles which is traditional 'coverstich' look but frankly, I love the 3 thread look so much, so far I am staying with it. I love this thing, great compliment to my serger and definitely kicks up my garments a couple more notches. And easy to use, basically the machine sews itself

    Makes hemming so easy and professional!

    This machine is amazing! I did a lot of research before purchasing, and I'm confident I made a good choice. It was either this or the Brother, and what ultimately made the big difference is the free arm option and the wider neck space between the needles and body of the machine that Janome offers and Brother doesn't. The machine came threaded and ready to use, no need to adjust tension or install needles. I love the extra needles that came with the bonus pack! I haven't used the needle threader yet, but I'll give it a try sometime.I've used this machine on lots of different weights and types o

    This is a wonderful machine that moves home sewing to anther level!

    This machine is amazing. It more than does its job. It is worth the cost. Drawbacks are that when you are finished, no back stitch to lock stitches and it is a bear to pull the fabric back to disconnect. It seem as if the thread is "stuck". I turn the hand. When partially back and forth to loosentge thread. I have watched video after video and they seem to have a similar issue. All said, I love this machine and thee capabilities.

    I love this machine

    I love this machine, glad I picked it over the Brother 2340cv. Hems are great, machine is far more solid than I'm used to. Heavy & fast & feeds well like a good serger, but the extra room is good for top stitching and maneuvering in general. I use the chain stitch a lot for basting, really easy to pull out if you don't anchor it. My sewing machine won't baste knits or slippery athletic mesh without lots of puckering. I also use the chain stitch for strong seams on wovens. It seems like most people use this just for hemming, but I'm finding more uses as I play around. Lots of good YouTube tutor

    UPDATE: So it’s been roughly two years since I initially reviewed my coverstitch machine. I absolutely love this machine and whatever mishap with the bundle description versus what I actually received has been long forgotten! This Janome coverstitch has added quite the professional touch to my projects. Even though I want to add the latest and greatest Janome CS to my arsenal (it has the dual-sided looped stitching), I would have a hard time letting go of this one. So glad I bought it!I am going to edit my review once I’ve had a chance to take it out of the box and set it up, but I wanted to r
