I just got this since I dropped my old scale which is still working but I needed to have a replacement just in case. This is a nice size and weight. I have only used it once but will hopefully use it over the weekend quite a bit more. I like the color black and the display is a nice size and easy to read compared to my old scale. I think it was a good value and hope it works quite a long time. It seems like it will be compatible with some of the larger bowls I will be using it with and it is easy to use.

I do like my new Koios digital scale. It is small, yet, it seems to be accurate, and it is large enough that I can see the digits with my large sourdough mixing bowl on it. It is small, thin, and easy to store away and has a C port for recharging, as well as backup AA batteries. I chose the white one, since I’m working with white dough. It will be useful for lots of things in the kitchen. I believe the top is glass, and there are four non-skid pads on the bottom to hold it in place. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, but so far it seems to do the trick, since sourdough is measured in grams. T

This is a great scale! I wanted a rechargeable scale for virtually all my cooking needs (weighing ingredients means not having to wash measuring cups and spoons!), because the scale I was using was tearing through batteries like nobody's business. We both use this scale, for everything we cook, from bread to pasta to desserts to salad dressings. Never thought I would use a kitchen scale, but I've seen many recipes calling for grams. My first use - weigh the turkey. Oh my, the weight of just the turkey was off by a half pound due to all the packaging and glaze. That alone helped with cooking time.I weighed my newly purchased savory here on Amazon. Weighed exactly as labeled.Now I am obsessed with it. So easy to use and all weights one will ever need. Pounds and ounces, grams, fluid ounes, milliliters, kilograms. After at least 15 years, my husband knocked my old food scale off the counter. I was due for a new one anyway, I'm very pleased with this scale: larger platform, glass top for easy cleaning. The large platform accommodates larger food items,, and bowls and plates that blocked the display of my old scale. It's more accurate and responsive. It has a hook so you can hang it up instead of taking up space on the counter of our small kitchen. It can be charged with a usb plug. This was important to me: I'm trying to eliminate the use of disposable batteries. I don't recall if you can run it via usb.

I've been using this scale, sometimes 4 times a day, for over 4 years. It is accurate and the tare feature is extremely useful. I've checked its accuracy by weighing pre-weighed foods like a pound of bread or a 15.5 ounce can of tomatoes. It recharges easily and still holds a charge for more than a month with heavy use.
