Very nice quality, it looks great on my counter. They are very sharp, will cut a tomato with no problem. I am so glad I purchased these knives! They are so easy to put away on the magnetic holder. The handles are very comfortable and beautiful. There is a good balance in the weight of the knife. Love love love them!

I was disappointed to say the least. The quality for a 150+ knife set is laughable. They said it was designed in japan, meaning it was made somewhere else and welp you can tell. The pattern on the knives isn't made from forging but is lasered on. The metal is cheep and I can already tell it will dull rather quickly. That and the more I inspected the knives and scissors I realized they weren't very clean, grime between the scissor blades and some mismatched odd staining on the knives made me turn away from this set completely. I will be looking elsewhere and you should too.
Beautiful but not what I expected.
This is a sort of you get what you pay for situation. I would consider them a value set of knives. I bought these for my second home as I have very expensive actual Japanese knives, which all individually cost more than this entire set, in my primary residence. while they do not claim to be Damascus, they appear so in the image. Damascus pattern is etched into the blades which is probably typical of all knife sets on Amazon at this price point. They do look good and I like the knife block, but I’m not keen on the peach mauve tone of the plastic on the scissors and hone. They are very sharp out
