Actually a scale that weighs in increments of 0.01g is a centigram scale.I test all my scales with calibration weights and this scale is pretty dead on accurate down to less than half a gram total weight. Let me clarify, these scales are typically accurate within 0.02-0.04g, but not if you are weighing someone that's less than 2g total weight.
