These cameras were shipped out and received within a few days of placing the order. I had upgraded to a 16 channel DVR that I got for a great price that was made in Austin TX. The dome cameras I had were from the old DVR that the 16 channel DVR replaced and are made completely of plastic. Once I received the Zosi cameras, I had noticed that the housing including the ring and the base was completely made of metal and had a good black finish. Othing but issues with this product. Right out of the box two cameras did not work. They sent me two to replace and now three more cameras dont work. This time outside of the return window. Amazon wont even let me contact the selwr as it is fulfilled by amazon and they say because the return window is closed there is nothing rhey can do.

Wow... So, this is now and all plastic-y camera... The optics are pretty good, and good color, but I never thought I'd see a fully plastic camera base... I've done a lot of CCTV camera installs, so none of this really threw me for a loop, but for the "first timer" it might be hard to figure out how to go about installing this. Hint: Go slow and figure it out BEFORE you get near a ladder. After that, it's mostly just a matter of juggling things until you get it all up in the air and pointed the way you want it.
