This is a great product but it did not work well because it was too close to my modem. It took a few days with customer service and my cameras customer service but it was the internet supplier that suggested it was to close to the router. As soon as I moved it further away it started to work great. It was easy to set up. It does not necessarily boost the speed but if there is less interference the speed will be better.

We have an existing system of the TP-Link BE11000 units (BE63) that's worked great. I bought a single BE14000 unit to become the new main unit when we get AT&T Fiber. Setting up the BE14000 as a satellite unit in our existing mesh system was a breeze. Changing the BE14000 to become the main unit in the network was a comparative nightmare. There is no easy way to discover what to do in the Deco app. The TP-Link website instructions are much better, but not referenced in the Deco app. The display of each unit's status in the Deco app lags far behind what the units are actually doing. Pros - Great for a simple home network setup. Has some great features for IOT segmentation and very strong wifi signal. Great for streaming video from online content providers. I would also give it thumbs up for value for money as well. The Deco system does some things very good and some things very badly. The main issue is it doesn’t know what it wants to be, consumer or Pro, thereby disappointing both groups in some way. I have had these for 6 weeks or so and they have pushed three firmware updates so far.Honestly I haven’t had any major issues, but lots of annoying ones. For instance if these don’t restart simultaneously your devices might grab a Deco that’s much further away. I’m about 2 weeks into using a three pack of these in my home. It’s a two story, 3000sqft. I’d previously been using four other mesh routers, this let me drop to 3.Easy set up. Love all the options for configuring. My old set up used the set it and forget it routers. But those lacked the ability to install VPN configurations, force individual devices to use a certain frequency, and use parental controls to shut down my kids devices. So far I’m really happy with these. Solid, no drop outs, no issues at all. They were expensive but worth it.

Updated Review:I originally gave this system 5 stars—and for good reason. Out of the box, this thing felt fantastic. Setup took maybe 10–15 minutes, the app experience is excellent, and coverage was a significant upgrade for my home.
