I installed this AP several months ago.Despite being in a hot garage in Florida, it's performed without flaw.I used nylon spacers between the AP and the metal mounting plate to help dissipate heat.

I give the setup 3 stars and the Wi-Fi strength and chat support 5 star. I tried different wiring configurations and failed. Got on chat support and they got me running. The indoors AP Wi-Fi is really strong throughout the large barn. The signal actually went thru the metal barn sides and gave me a reasonable signal up to 70' away! An extra benefit.

I had been planning on upgrading my home Wi-Fi, I have two access points in the house and one in the shed in the back. I'm using a power over Ethernet multi gig switch and the omada controller, being able to control the Wi-Fi from anywhere is fantastic, we never lose signal and have excellent coverage using the roaming feature of the device. There's really good, affordable equipment out there that's ndaa compliant and not made in China. It's worth the extra 20%. I went Ubiqiti and haven't looked back because everything's so easy on my home network now

Very nice access point. Has VLAN support and is completely configurable locally. No need for a separate app or going online to configure it. I do not have to constantly reboot it due to memory issues. Easy configuration to have it do what you want it to do.
