This extender is amazing! My outdoor floodlight camera above the garage had a very weak Wi-Fi signal. Configuring this TP-Link AC1900 was incredibly simple and took less than 5 minutes from start to finish. Now, my floodlight camera has a full signal with absolutely no drops.The price was amazingly low, making it an incredible value. The unit itself feels beefy and solid, and it has plenty of status lights to indicate signal quality so you always know exactly what is going on. I am very happy with this purchase!

I am writing this after about 2 weeks in use. I bought this extender as a replacement for a Linksys (RE7000) extender. This is paired with a Linksys WRT3200ACM Router. Almost half the price of another brand I am returning, but more than twice the repeater.My 3-D printer is located in our detached shop-garage. The extender this replaced limped, getting me in at a bar.The "highly rated" booster being sent back took 3 minutes, or more, to load the camera, which allowed me to monitor prints, when it would load at all. For those of you dissing this extender because it doesn't increase your speed, that's not what this is for. Like for example, you can't be paying your ISP for 50 Mbps of speed and expect to get 100 Mbps. Although the device did ultimately accomplish what I purchased it for, it does not really perform as I expected it to. First, I don't believe the range is as advertised. I doubt this extender will cover 2800SF, but the range will be severely degraded if it makes it there at all. I have tried a number of other WiFi extenders, without much success, so I was skeptical of this one at first.This TP-Link extender has worked the best of any we have tried. It has an ethernet port to provide wired compatibility for those devices I would like more speed on. It was very easy to connect to our current modem, and easy to reset, should we choose to do so.
