People ae often motivated to write a review when they hate a product, but sometimes, you can be motivated to write a review when you LOVE a product. Such is the case with this review.I must admit that setup was kind of a PIA. I've setup a few extenders in my time and this one took the longest. We haven't been getting a good WIFI signal in our attached garage and I finally decided to do something about it. I haven't studied this stuff at all, so I'm not very knowledgeable. I just wanted an inexpensive fix for now because we are on the verge of getting fiber optic, and I will probably do some sort of mesh system at that time. Easy to set up and get started with. Seems to work really well for extending wifi to other rooms and help a tv stay connected, also helps with cameras but there have been small lapses. I would still recommend.

I just received this wifi extender this morning, but am already happy with my purchase. Getting the associated app up and running took a bit, but the product itself was easy to set up afterward. I put the extender on the back wall in my kitchen, and was immediately able to stream consistently all over my back yard. No more buffering interruptions! I had considered the option of getting a new easy-mesh router system, but this fit my realistic budget better (and I am not one to replace a gadget that is still working fine).

Covers a lot of ground. Easy to setup, just plug and connect to the WiFi. Provides both 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequency. Extends the range as intended. Holds decent speed. Great value for money, it’s cheaper compared to other brands. Easily connects to your home WiFi. Set it up in a corner where you’d like to extend coverage.

This item was reasonably priced and had good reviews. The setup instructions were average (not bad; not great). I hated having to setup an account with TapoLink for yet another tech device to use in my home.The actual setup was fairly easy but it took trying 8 different locations in the house to get the "oh so wonderful coverage" promised in the write up of this WiFi extender. [Please read that statement as highly sarcastic. It's not wonderful].Basically I'm getting only an additional 15ft extension to a security camera outside. We got this TP-Link WiFi extender to help with a couple of areas in the house where our WiFi signal was weak, and it has definitely made a difference. Setup was pretty simple and didn’t take long. Once connected, we had a much stronger and more reliable signal in rooms that used to have trouble staying connected. It’s been great for streaming, phones, and other everyday devices. It does take up a little space around the outlet, but overall it works well and was an easy solution for extending our WiFi coverage.
