This is a nice little scale. I use for weighing small amounts of yarn. To calibrate it you do need a calibration weight. I found some for about $6

Helps us weigh the stuff well. Can’t describe what we are weighing but it does the job. If you need any thing hollar at your boy.

This is a quality scale and it can measure small quantities of spices, teas, etc. It can even weigh jewelry accurately to determine carats when set to do that. It is tiny, just larger than my hand, and fits easily in my kitchen top drawer. Easy to use. I recommend reading the instructions, however.
