I bought this to measure my coffee beans. The key reason I bought it over other similar priced ones was it includes a weight so you can more easily calibrate it. Whether this scale is accurate to the gram I can't say, but my tongue says it's pretty good based on my espresso's taste -- neither too strong nor weak.I like that it's super small and easy to store, but that is also one if its deficits as it's nearly impossible to weight coffee inside the portafilter.
