great, converted my 1995 sony tv tube to use the roku stick.

That worked good too. It converted the streaming signal into a VHS signal. It had to be fed into the modulator in order for the old TV to show it on its screen.

Really convenient and handy. Makes ice fast.

Does what it says on the tin. I got it to watch and play old media on an actual CRT. It does that very well with no noticable lag. There is some resolution issues but that will vary depending on the size of your TV. Worth the price even just for the nostalgia hit. First thing I did was watch some 90's MTV. Perfection.

Does not have the USB power cord. Text and pictures show it.

Terrible quality on N64 And PS2. That was all that was tested before I bought units specifically for those systems to be able to play over HDMI.

For converting VHS tapes to digital video files, this device can’t be beat. Three RCA cables, an HDMI cable, a capture card and a computer combined with this device turns a 640x480 analog recording into your choice of an HD (1280x720) or FHD (1920x1080) digital file that any modern video player can handle. Caveat: such conversions produce images that are wider than true width, but that is an aspect ratio disparity that is not attributable to the hardware. This almost free device is better in every way than a different device I paid $70 for a few years ago to do the same job.

I used it on my game cube and it worked totally fine, however it does not come with the actual HDMI chord. Luckily I had one laying around and you can also get them for cheap pretty much anywhere. I also had to plug the usb power chord into my iphone square which I then plugged into an outlet. Overall it works totally fine and does what it says but the wire set up is kind of messy. And the decrease in picture quality was expected but no big deal.
