    Easy to use, professional machine with a perfect stitch!

    Love my new Janine HD9. I did a bit of research before I decided on this machine. Juki makes a similar machine a few hundred dollars less. I went with this machine because it was more stable, quieter, only oil 1 x per week as opposed to daily, etc. I have sewn on it for about a week now and absolutely love it! It’s easy to thread, wind the bobbin, and sews with perfect stitching. I am starting a small bag business and needed my machine to stitch perfect stitches as well as sew heavy fabric (canvas, denim).     Somewhere between an industrial and a domestic machine

    I am an industrial machine user, I just prefer them. At the current moment- I am working from home and I needed a straight-stitch machine that was fast. This machine is not as fast as a true industrial, but it is much faster than most home machines. My only complaint about the machine is that you have to use the needle up/down position and there does not seem to be a way to turn that function off. As someone who is used to a fully mechanical machine with no computer- this is pretty frustrating. Overall, I give the machine an A- because of the needle position function, but otherwise, I think it

    Sew easy to use!

    I wanted this for a while now. I have experience with industrial machines and a variety of other sewing machines. I watched plenty of videos on this sweet machine before buying. I read the manual and had it up and going within a few minutes. I love it!

    Great for what I wanted/needed

    This heavy duty machine is perfect for me I have pieced and free motion quilted with it and I really enjoyed using it .One special feature i had not considered is the automatic thread cutter ..........fantastic! And i found it saves thread. I have not found one part of the use of the Janome 1600 that has not more then met my expectations . I more then met my needs in sewing the quilts I love to make for our family.

    janome great for heavy duty sewing

    I love this machine. It will sew thru several thicknesses of fabric and not even bog down. Would recommend it to everyone that needs a heavy-duty machine.
