This is remarkably light, capable and durable mouse. I purchased my Microsoft Arc Mouse (ELG-00001) six years ago. I've used it nearly every day since, bouncing it around in my laptop bag, and working on countless surfaces from cafe tables to kitchens, etc. It has performed marvelously. On the negative side, it's about twice as expensive as the Dell MS700. I have had Microsoft Surface Pros pretty much since they have come out. This mouse is a great companion as they both pack very flat. I am an old-school, mouse dependent computer user; this gives me a good feel but in a small package. This is my third one; I would like it to last forever but given how I throw it around I think it's life is very respectable.

This is my third Microsoft Arc Mouse in about six years (one broke and I lost another), and I keep coming back to it because it’s just that good.I love that it folds flat, which makes it incredibly easy to throw into a bag for work or travel. UpdatedThis unit is definitely an expensive mouse for its general appearance. First impressions are excellent. The feel is nice and acceptable for casual browsing and computer usage. I had a Surface Arc mouse for a couple years and loved it. I am an Apple guy through and through but I despise their Magic Mouse so my work was giving out Surface Arcs so I decided to try one and the ergonomics, the silicon feel, the ability to flatten it, “chef’s kiss”.
