The Microsoft Business Hardware Pack (Model No. 1031) bundles the Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard 1.0 and the Intellimouse Optical 1.1 together in one great package. Compatible with PC or Mac, USB or PS/2, and with a zoom slider, volume/mute controls, and enhanced function keys, this is a very versatile keyboard and mouse pairing.
The mouse features five buttons, including the scroll wheel. Two of the buttons are conveniently located at either side of the mouse and may be programmed for a number of functions like forward and backward or copy and paste. This keyboard and Mouse set will work with PS/2 ports.
This is especially helpful in office environments where all USB ports are blocked out or disabled for security purposes.

The Microsoft Business Hardware Pack is an excellent value for a keyboard and mouse set. A month ago I ordered 4 units for my small business. They've worked without any problems on our Macs. The software seems to function well and allows for all the additional keys and mouse buttons to be properly configured. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a keyboard and mouse set, including home users.Keyboard Highlights:- Ample multifunction keys- Shock absorbing keys that are comfortable to use for extended periods of time- Log Off, Sleep, and sound control keys- "F Lock" key keeps it's state

This is one great keyboard!
I seldom take the time to post reviews such as this; but this is an opportunity to do someone who is looking for a keyboard a favor. This is one great keyboard and, when you consider its cost, offers genuine value. Mine has great tactile feel, no dead keys and a useful array of special keys. Not too many - just enough. I really like this keyboard.

Maybe good for Office, but not Home
I loved the keyboard but the mouse is terrible. Feels cheap and the scroll wheel is not up to par. The DPI of this mouse is terrible and even with sensitivity all the way up I still can't move all the way across the screen. The keyboard is probably the best feature, the keys are very easy to type with and feel like you are typing on air, the downside is that sometimes it feels like the keys hit the bottom of the base. Hard to explain but Keyboard is pretty good all around. For the price you can't beat it but be prepared to buy another mouse if you want to feel comfortable.

Keyboard & mouse are comfortable and have lasted a long time
The mouse in this pack is the popular Intellimouse Optical 1.1 and the keyboard is a simplified version of the Digital Media keyboard which is also loved by many. Both have lasted for a long time and the keyboard is pretty comfortable. The removable wrist rest is also useful.

Great plug-in keyboard with all the bells and whistles
I've owned this keyboard before where it lasted well over 20 years so I was happy to see it was still around. Great Microsoft product that is hard to find as they no longer manufacture it.

Great keyboardand mouse; good price
This is one of the best keyboards I've ever used. Good touch, lots of shortcuts (print, send, web, zoom, spell, etc. etc.and programmable keys. I am so happy with it. The mouse is good too. I replaced it with a sluggish mouse that didn't work very well. Considering you get 2 good products for the price, I think it is an excellent buy as well.I don't think any of you will be disappointed.

A must buy for the price....
I decided to buy this keyboard/mouse combo because it was wired. Yes Wired... I was sick of dealing with the wireless "pain" (batteries, frequent disconnection, etc). For my surprise, this combo was much better than what I was expecting. It's keys are pretty "soft" and quiet. And it includes some handy keys to access basic windows functionality (web, email, messenger, volume, etc). If you are looking for a cheap NON "painful" way of using your PC, this is IT.

MS Keyboard and mouse
A great keyboard and mouse. If you tap the mouse on your desk then it splits the windows in a vista-esque manner. If I read the manual then it probably would have told me but we all know what really happens with manuals! I'm using this to replicate the setup that I have in the office at home. Works perfectly at a pretty reasonable price.
