OXO Good Grips 11 Pound Stainless Steel Food Scale with Pull-Out Display

I finally decided that a scale with a larger read out would be easier and more enjoyable to use. First.little bit about me. I had to replace my old OXO kitchen scale which was misplaced in a recent move. These scales are amazing. They are accurate and durable. The weight can be switched to metric and it is easy to read. Finally cleanup is a breeze. It does come with batteries installed.

I have wasted so much money recently on cheap kitchen scales that broke after the return window (seriously, one broke a week past it's return window.) Finally, I gave up and spent money on a trusted brand. We are very happy with this one. The scale section is removeable and washable, and the pull out display gives extra room for larger bowls - those 2 features alone made it worth the purchase. Excellent design and high quality build, as per usual with OXO products. You get what you pay for: this one costs, but it is worth it if you are a constant user and need accuracy and functionality.
