I've dealt with so much finicky technology in my life that it's a GREAT relief that something just works out of the box.I mounted the bracket on a wall, attached the camera, plugged in my ethernet cable, and it sprung to life. The mobile app picked it up immediately, the desktop clients (windows and mac OS) both picked up the camera immediately and all I had to do was enter the admin password for the camera.Thank goodness my wife and I can share accounts for the mobile app - greatly simplifies things.Again, I cannot stress enough how this just WORKS out of the box. I love the concept of this camera. I bought a second one on the sale they just had to replace a Duo 3v. The first replaced a camera intended to fill a gap to be able to ID people and animals near the front door. The second replaced a Duo 3V on the side of the house.Someone else mentioned that the panoramic camera does not point low enough and they are spot on. The tilt and pan have clicks and I would prefer to be able to adjust to where I want and use a lock screw to set it. The clicks are a bit coarser than I would like. Reolink has a known bug (check Reddit) with this camera. The PTZ camera has an issue where it points down and does not return to its monitor point. It spends 1/2-2/3 of its time pointed at the ground and nothing changes that.All of this is on top of bad software. The app is mostly fine. I mean the camera software itself. The tracking on it is better than previous cameras… when it works. (Again, check Reddit for full reviews.) Reason I bought this camera is I wanted less cameras to cover more. The top camera has 180 degrees view that's stationary. Then you have to ptz camera that tracks whatever moves. You can set it not to do that but it is more effective tracking what the 180 camera picks up. Connected quickly to my reolink nvr being a poe camera. The lights on the camera are bright so illuminate yard at night. Being 4k can see many things in detail. I recommend this camera yes it is expensive but it is quality. I love Reolink products. I currently have 11 cameras including two of the OMVI 3i PoE.While most of my outdoor cameras offer exceptional full color night vision- partly in fact because I have a lot of landscape lights and my front and backyards are lit up like a Christmas tree- one of the OMVI cams only displays b&w ( full color only when the motion lights activate) and the other displays some ghastly gawd awful colors.
