    Family Fun

    We discovered Raclette when in Germany and wanted to have a raclette party when home. This unit has 2 heating elements while most on the market have only one. It is very sturdy and easy to clean. The kids love being able to make mini pizzas as well. It’s a fun addition to family game night. The grill gets hot enough to grill thin sliced meats, vegetables, shrimp. In addition to Raclette Cheese, we have used Emmental, Fontina and Smoked Gouda. It is away to entertain in a casual manner and reminds me of the popular fondue parties of the 60’s & 70’s.

    Lacking a few things.

    Temperature dial has no indication of temperature - have to guess. No drip tray - which can get the grill layered with grease, and makes cleanup a challenge.

    This is interesting. There are a lot of parts but the use of the grill is straightforward. Clean up is also a breeze as you can remove the grill surfaces and clean.
