Zojirushi NL-EAC18BA Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer 10 Cups, Black

I make a LOT of rice — for my homemade dog food and for meals I make and donate to a community fridge network. Before purchasing this Zojirushi, making enough rice for a 2-3 week batch of dog food was not easy. If I used a large pot on my stove, the rice at the bottom would still be gooey while rice on the sides of the pot was starting to get crispy. The Zojirushi has solved this problem. It does a very good job when I fill it to capacity, though the rice is quite compressed in the pot. When I use it for smaller quantities, the rice is perfect. I bought mine from the manufacturer before it was available on Amazon. I originally bought another one but realized it was too much effort to make anything but rice because the presets. I decided on this one because it has more presets for food types typically cooked in the US, apparently certain models are made for different regions. Very happy I switched to this one, it looks better in my kitchen because of the more modern shape and it has presets for more foods I needed it for.My only complaint is this one is made of cheaper materials than older models. If you take the time to read Zojirushi's manual and perhaps watch an instructional video, you'll produce consistently excellent rice. Results using basmati, koshihikari, brown, and arborio rice have been top-notch. Have used the stay warm function for up to 6 hours with good results. Compact and easy to clean. Plus, it plays a tune when you start cooking rice, and another tune when the rice is done. My favorite rice cooker.

The BEST rice you will ever eat. Totally worth the extra money. Leftovers are moist. Rice stays fresh in the cooker long time after cycle completes. It does take about an hour to cook a pot of rice. Need to plan ahead , but is worth the wait.

OMG. Best purchase for 2026. So easy and rice is perfect. I have never made better long grain basmati rice. Love how it will keep it warm, too. I am a seasoned cook and resisted buying one of these for far too long.
