Zojirushi Nl AAC10 Micom Rice Cooker and Warmer, 5.5 Cup, 1.0 L

Great all around rice cooker. I picked this one primarily since it had the GABA brown rice and steam functions, aside form the standard options. The GABA brown rice apparently makes brown rice even healthier, and it does result in softer, fluffier brown rice. The steam function has worked great to steam a small serving of dumplings or veggies in a pinch without having to use the stove. I've also made congee and used the porridge function to make steel-cut oats. Very versatile!!

Makes incredible rice. We originally had an aroma brand rice cooker that was gifted to us, but after having lived in Japan, we knew we wanted a rice cooker that made the same level of quality. It has been so easy to use and clean, and we really love the timer function as we often have some rice with breakfast- we can prepare it before bed and have perfect, fresh rice in the busiest of mornings. It is about the same size as the aroma 10 cup cooker, but I find it's definitely worth the upgrade for the quality you receive. It also looks much nicer than the aroma cooker, so we don't mind it stayin

This is my second cooker from this brand. Our older one was a simpler model, we had it for years and put it to hard work weekly. We broke it in a move and I decided to upgrade to this model with more rice options and nicer features.We used it within minutes of receiving it and oh man, the rice perfect, better than with our old model, too. After months of cooking rice in a basic pot with less than perfect results, I’m so glad I have a trusty cooker again.

I never knew how good rice could be before i bought a rice cooker. a friend (with japanese children) recommended this because he's had it for 10 years and never had any issues. all the reviews i saw showed the same - the more expensive japanese built is the best, and so far, it seems to be true. extremely easy to use (literally put rice and water in the bowl and press start) easy to clean (just remove the bowl and wash) i've made absolutely perfect rice every time. this is a device that is worth the money, buy it once, buy for life.

I bought this one to replace my nearly 20 years old and trusty NS-ZCC18, which finally bit the dust over one incidence or another. Best investment you’ll ever make!! This thing works great, has loads of features and setting, plus it sings to you!? What else do you need? Amazing quality, I’ve had this thing for years and it shows no signs of stopping. It’s pricey but well worth the money!!
