After doing a lot of comparing between Tiger and Zojirushi for a new rice cooker, I ended up deciding on this 3-cup rice cooker. It is the perfect size when cooking for just 1 or 2 people. I liked the features of the rice cooker - the different cooking modes...although I haven't used any other than white rice and quick...but I like having the options.The pot is non-stick and we'll made, so it is easy to clean and keep clean. So far so great! Cooks rice perfectly and even when you forget about it (like 4 hours later) it’s still turns out great. We did run into one issue where we tried to start a new batch before the element cooled down and it throw an error code that looked like ‘hot’ but might have been h01. Any way, let it cool and then started it, finished fine.

I have been in the market for a small rice cooker for a while, and Zojirushi is the one everyone says is worth the money. This one hit two features I was looking for in a rice cooker I was going to spend this much money one: A timer function and a small minimum amount to cook.The timer function is perfect. I don't know how it understands that the rice or oatmeal has soaked over night but I have perfect rice ready the exact time I set the cooker for. I had my eye on this company's rice cookers for awhile but finally decided to take the plunge and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
