Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it takes longer for the rice to cook. But this rice cooker does make better tasting rice. The texture isn't mushy. (I like my rice to be on the firmer side.) I've experienced no starchy steam vent "boil over" episodes. I've never had rice burn in this cooker. The build is solid and the unit has many options and features so it's quite versatile. It has a generous capacity. It's easy to clean. It's worth the one time lifetime investment. I would recommend.

Love my new rice cooker. It has a modern clean look. There is no handle. The top screen is easy to read. It has several cook functions including mixed rice. But takes quite long to cook about 70 mins. There is a quick cook function too which takes about 30-35 mins. Makes a nice musical tune when ready.Wish the wire was retractable.

I’ve been using this rice cooker for about a month now. I was using a cheap $20 rice cooker from target before this and the difference is noticeable. This is like the kitchen aid of rice cookers. The quality is a huge step up coming from a cheap lever cooker. The inner cooking pan is heavy and solid. The buttons are tactile and it even plays nice melodies when it starts and finishes, Overall it’s easy to use. Best steel cut oatmeal ever! Basically set it and forget it. No boiling water, no stirring, no "watching." I hate to cook so quick and easy is my go-to. I have been eating the Mom's instant steel cut oats with flaxseed but wasn't entirely happy with them. Now that I've had real steel cut oats, I'm not sure what the Mom's was. Haven't tried making any rice yet, but I'm sure it will be perfect. This is a very nice looking and well made unit. I was expecting it to be huge, but it really isn't. It's smaller than either of my air fryers.

WOW! love, love this machine. It is very expensive for what we are used to paying for rice cookers in the US. But this machine makes amazingly delicious rice. I've cooked white, jasmine and Koshihikari rice in this and they all come out perfect and better than I have ever had before. Others complained about the fan sound when cooking, you can hear the fan when cooking but to me this is not a big deal at all, my kitchen is always noisy. My air fryer,Instant Pot and vent hood are all noisier than this rice cooker. The time it takes to cook is as expected, about an hour for White rice and Jasmine

First an foremost: this Rice cooker prepares the perfect rice you aways dreamed of.Easy to use and to clean, even if the cooking pan will get scratched easily (I only use the original plastic ladle and a sponge when handling it). Good size for 1-3 persons, nice to look at with plenty of meal options (white, brown, quinoa, oats, ...).-1/2 Star: In comparison to the non-induction models, this one is louder - not noisy, but you can hear the frequent humming while cooking and keeping the rice warm. I believe some people will not like the humming.-1/2 Star: You can only use the unit in 110V-environ
