makes perfect ice, and pretty quiet. Ice does start to melt after a while but that makes the water colder as well so it recycles that energy ... takes around 8 minutes to make a batch , each batch is plenty to fill a glass and make a perfect drink . I personally just fill solo cups then put them in a freezer so they are ready to use anytime... works great!

Love this ice maker. I purchased it in May 2026. I have no problems with it what so ever. I clean it manually every 3 weeks and do not depend on the cleaning function, i just feel i have to get in there good with a sponge. Its performs amazing, its plugged in 24/7 it does not keep the ice frozen but the ice doesnt last in my house so its not a problem for us. It runs quietly obviously except for then the ice drops. I bought this a year ago and it's still just working away making ice. The ice has gotten smaller but that is entirely my fault because I didn't know how to properly clean it. It still makes ice just fine it just makes smaller cubes and we use a LOT of ice. I had neck cancer in 2008 and because of the radiation treatment my salivary glands no longer produce saliva so I have to keep my mouth and throat moist with something and I like to chew ice so we got this machine and I don't have a single regret. I do wish we had the space for an under counter one so it could be hooked up to a water supply

This does work pretty well and it pumps out ice. Have to keep it in perspective. This isn't going to work at an industrial rate. It would take you a day to fill up a 10 pound bag and you will need to unload the tray every 10 mins. The cubes are smallish. Good sized and for sure better than not having ice.

Makes ice very fast! It has very simple, intuitive controls, and looks pleasing enough on the counter. Additionally, it's fairly quiet. Obviously, there's a fan the pulls air across the condenser, but it's not intusive or obnoxious. Likewise, the compressor is noticeable, but very much in the background. This little ice maker is fantastic. It’s compact so it doesn’t take up a ton of space on the counter. It couldn’t be easier to use. Plug it in, fill with water and around 8 minutes later you have ice. It makes 9 dome shaped cubes per batch. It has two size options, but the large isn’t that big. Comes with a scoop to remove from the catch basket for ease of use. I’ve found that the ice will melt quickly, but I’ve put batches in some ziplock freezer bags and let them freeze fully. Not knowing much about countertop icemakers, I turned to my Consumer Reports subscription and discovered that this unit was listed as a "CR Recommended" machine. Unlike many of the units, this one has about twice the water capacity than most of them out there. It also makes ice extremely fast. I had pictured having to have the unit turned on all the time and really didn't want that. It turns out they tell you to transfer the ice to your freezer which is exactly what I wanted. This is the second one of these I ordered. The first one was completely fine, it was out of warranty and I had to replace a microswitch and it lasted another year. The second one stopped working in less than 6 months so I put in a warranty claim. After weeks of back and forth I finally got a claim number and then was informed I would have to ship it back at my cost. It cost $64 to send to the warranty location. It's been there for 12 days and I STILL have not heard back or received any news on when I am getting my replacement. I love the product but the customer service is some of the worst I'
