When my wife heard about the nugget ice makers she has always expressed interest in getting one, but the amount of counter space they take up was always a concern as we have a smaller kitchen. When we heard GE made a mini version we decided to give it a shot and see how it goes. We have had it for a few weeks now and it has been great! It is easy to use, we put it together, downloaded the app, and set it on a schedule and outside of filling up the water tank haven’t thought twice about it. We have had it almost 2 weeks and have really used it. It is really easy to use and haven’t noticed leaking. The ice size is as advertised, tiny pellets that are easy to chew. We haven’t hooked up the side reservoir since there’s only 2 of us and it makes plenty during the day. We turn it off at night and again next morning. Works as advertised, might be a little pricy but so far worth it.

This thing makes THE BEST ice. Easy set up and maintenance. I’m very happy with my decision to get the mini vs the full size. It doesn’t take up too much counter space and the noise level is minimal. I highly recommend this model!

Delvery great. A bit heavy,is worth what paid for. And blowed away a hidden feature that never said that can be controlled by the GE app and unexpected feature can change the lighting by different colors. Makes a wet ice compared to other machines on the market. And only about out of the box to aet up and making ice about 45 min. Would recommend this and is worth the money.

Sent the first one back. Made terrible whistling sound at night. Replacement is fine. No issues. Make ice as fast as you use it. Love it. No more worries when entertaining.

Great nugget ice but it’s so loud.

We really wanted to like this machine, but it just wasn't in the cards. Setup was easy, but in the first 3-4 days of use, I couldn't figure out why I kept having to replenish the reservoir twice a day. I was only filling one or two glasses for my diet coke each day - I mean, how much water does one glass of ice require? Finally realized that there was a leak. That said, the amount of water from the leak still didn't account for the frequent refilling. Combine this with the fact that I didn't love the noise and the amount of space it takes up on the counter, we packed it up to return.
