EUHOMY Nugget Ice Maker Countertop with Handle, Max 40lbs Daily Sonic Ice

I'm still on day one of this ice machine, so I'll update this if anything changes. So far, I love it. The ice is very similar to what you get from Sonic or QT or Buc-ee's. It's the small, "chewy" ice cubes that many of us love. The machine makes ice very quickly. I've been using this ice machine multiples per week and regret not buying it sooner. I’ve been really impressed with how fast it can produce ice and the quailty of the ice. Nothing beats soft crushed ice for drinks, I use it in sodas, juice and coffee. I also use the ice to blend fruit smoothies. The ice machine is compact and doesn’t take up too much space. When I make a lot to store, I just move to the dining table and let it run for several hours and bag the ice as the tray fills up. The handle makes it easy to move around when needed. I've only had this ice maker for a couple of weeks, but so far, so good. My icemaker in my freezer went out, and we had no ice while waiting for a part to come in. I purchased this as a backup. It works fast and is very quiet. I do have it in the laundry room, so that may help with any noise concerns. The basket fills up fast as it is smaller. It's good for maybe 2 glasses, depending on how much ice you want, at a time, but it will be full again in time for the next drink. The ice is a little soft but lasts as long as expected. It is worth it for a backup or supplementary ice source.

This has been a great little icemaker! I have had this for approximately 18 months, (I meant to review it sooner but kept forgetting) and it is still going strong. We have an ice maker built into our freezer, but our city water quality is not reliable. I was so excited to receive this ice maker because it claimed to make the most perfect nugget ice just like Sonic's delicious ice. I've been buying cups of Sonic ice twice a week for some time now. However, now that it's hot outside here in California, the ice melts a little by the time I get home, so when I put it in the freezer, it hardens up into one solid brick of ice and doesn't taste the same as when getting and eating it right away from Sonic. I absolutely love this! I was on the fence after hearing that ice melts but it does so very slowly and keeps replenishing. You will always have ice if you keep it running. Also a nice price- you do ot need a pricier unit, this does the trick just fine. It is a bit louder than I expected but I don't mind it. My husband does, but he is sensitive to noise. The small nugget ice is absolutely lovely! I feel spoiled every day! I'm living the fancy ice life.

Let me say, I love this ice machine and the small ice is delightful as I wanted a machine that made sonic ice. I was so pleased with it. It wasn’t loud and I always had ice to chew on.That being said, I purchased mine in June 3025 and now here in January, it no longer makes ice. I have cleaned as it said and thought it would last at least a year. It made an extremely loud noise so we turned it off and it hasn’t made ice since. Very disappointed as I was really enjoying it. It is well designed, the ice is easy to access, and it makes ice fast enough to keep up with a small group all night.Two big problems.First, it is not quiet, whatever the listing implies. It sounds like a hair dryer running on low speed. Some reviewers say it is about as loud as a refrigerator. If their refrigerator sounds like this, they have an extremely loud refrigerator.
