Item is defective! Keyboard and built-in mouse are not working from initial boot up... trying to trouble shoot if it can be fixed via update

I just received my Surface Laptop this week. When I started it for the first time I was stuck at the setup because drivers for the keyboard, mouse and touchscreen were not installed. I had to plug in extremal USB KB and mouse to go through setup. The wireless drivers were not installed either so I had to download those onto a USB drive from another computer, then install. After the WIFI was working I was able to connect to Windows update and get drivers for everything else. The computer is NOT as described. The computer is enrolled and locked through Microsoft 365/Entra by Archwell Health. Seller was asked to obtain a device lock release but failed to do so and quit responding to emails for help. For set-up I had to use my office IT professional to bypass as much of the “out of box experience” registration as was possible because the lock was never released by Archwell. I now run the risk of default resets or Microsoft tests for registration for this BRAND NEW computer. It is obvious the Seller bought this computer from Archwell but failed to get it unlocked. Sel

This is NOT a new device. Upon setting it up, it was clearly owned previously by another organization and was hardware locked from an Autopilot reset.
