The vacation home we rent every year has very poor WiFi coverage. Speed is fine but only in certain parts of the house. This year I purchased the Roam 6 AX1500 to take along. I almost went for the WiFi 7 version, but there is only 1 WiFi 7 capable device in the family. The Roam 6 did not disappoint. I connected it to the vacation home’s hotspot and setup a private family WiFi network. It covered the whole house and had up to 10 devices connected at once. Nice little device that gives you lots of options. Used it to connect to a local free wifi but create my own secure network for peace of mind. Very easy to setup, nice app and interface. Will buy another for travel needs later.

This one lacks everything except a usb port and Ethernet ports. It has a long range and low transmission broadcast get close connect and it has a lot of range. It has half the bells and whistles BE3600 and AX3000 and transmits 6ghz and is the easiest of all to use. It has WPA2 & 3 personal as its max security protocol. I tried connecting it to a WiFi 6E network to see if it will use the E it doesn’t but what it does have is 5ghz not just 2.4ghz and the usb has tether and can use a tp-link mini usb in its USB need to look up why but it is good to know. Like the others I can’t merge the networks

Not a good experience. I setup wireless networks professionally. This device will not stay connected to any wifi. When I could not get to stay connected to my main wifi network, I created a special IotWifi network just for this device and changed settings. I could not keep it connected. Disconnects happened between 1 minute to 1 hour no real time limit.Several times after removing power I had to do a hard reset (hold reset button for 5s) and reconfigure it again. I am past my return window because I bought for a project that I am finally getting around to completing....Almost completing.

This travel router has been great while traveling. I no longer have to change the wifi on several devices per location. We often stay at VRBOs so I can plug directly into the modem. I kept the same name as our home network and all of devices connect seamlessly on the road. This router also has the ability to use my VPN for all devices connected. The speeds are good enough to 3 phones, 3 tablets and a laptop. I highly recommend this if you travel and are tired of updating the wifi everywhere you stop.

This was so easy to set up! It’s compact and easy to carry in luggage or a purse. We bought this for an upcoming move that required us to spend a week in a hotel. I was able to connect the router to the hotel WI-FI and get my other devices running off of it within minutes. Excellent quality and reliability.

Got this little router so I would have internet while I was prepping our house for sale. We've already moved and took our full power router to the new home. I'm quite impressed with this little device. It was easy to set up, which should be the bare minimum expectation by the way. The house I'm I'm working in to for sale is a 4,000 square foot home. And I have great service everywhere on both floors. I even have good service in the backyard which is a third of an acre. So yeah it's done me proud
