This is my second surface laptop after I lost my last one and I love it! It’s compact, lightweight, clean, sleek. Keyboard not the most functional, I make errors a lot, I feel like the placement makes typing naturally a little difficult. Build quality is good although I will say, Best Buy cannot fix these guys so I recommend an extended warranty. I had a surface-go before and the way the hardware is built, it cannot be opened up by third party to fix. I’m sure if it broke or something stopped working, they would just have to send you a new one but definitely why I’d recommend the warranty. So

I bought this computer for online college courses.. I have had it for almost 2 years and overall it has been a great computer and is still going strong! It’s still as fast as it was the day I took it out of the package and handles every workload I’ve thrown at it with ease. Surprisingly durable.. I can’t count how many times it got dropped or something along those lines & I thought for sure it was broken, but so far it has held up well to all of the accidental abuse over the last couple of years. Had the computer for a few months now it wont turn on. Tried every trick there was online and no luck. It took me an hour of repeating the same hard start process over and over till it worked then my little brother showed me how to do disk clean and defrag and hopefully this weekly maintenance will prevent that issue.

I needed a new laptop for school, but I wanted something that was a little more powerful than a Chromebook. I'm used to a MacBook Air, but this transition wasn't difficult. I am a Mac user. But, I was having a terrible time using Microsoft word on my Mac. It was impossible. So, I was forced to purchase an additional laptop in order to complete a massive writing project. Microsoft Surface Laptop is so easy to use. I haven't even gotten all the accessories yet, and I absolutely love it. It has features of an iPad with the flexibility of a laptop. It is lightweight and very user friendly. I might very well become a windows user after all.

I love this computer! Perfect size - very portable yet screen is large enough to use comfortably. It was very easy to set up and comes equipped with latest WIndows/MS Office - it's worth the subscription price not to have to buy and install software, and to always be up to date.
